Glad I didn't buy bigger number for starters. Pretty tough gripper. But seems good quality and gripping stays very stable with right placement. So will get tougher version eventually :)

Bought the 'No. 1.5 - rated to 150lbs (68kg)' version. Closing it was like child's play compared to a CoC No.1 (140lbs). The pounds/kilos don't seem to match, I trust CoC (Ironmind) more to assess the accurate weight needed to close them.

I actually like these a good bit more than the CoC ones, simply because they have a smaller diameter grip. I've got fairly small hands, so they fit a lot nicer. The quality is very decent as well. The only "cheap" things is the print on the bottom for the strength, but that's so minor for me I don't care about it. I definitely advise anyone contemplating to buy these instead of any other.

If you are "gym strong" but not specifically into grip work, start with number 1 or 1.5. Even number 1 is way harder than the tunable spring grippers you get in sporting goods stores.

I purchased the 150, 200, and 250 Strengthshop Grippers, and they are all fantastic. These grippers are well-built with a non-damaging grip, suitable for long-term training. The reasonable price makes them a great value. While effective, I would suggest making them slightly thicker for an added challenge. Also, how do the resistance levels of this grippers compare to Captains of Crush grippers?

I have purchased #1, 1,5, 2 and 3, and they are all superb grippers. These grippers seem well constructed and the knurling on the handles is sufficient to ensure a good hold, yet not so sharp that it damages the skin. This makes them useful for consistent, long-term training. Also, the Strengthshop Grippers come at a very reasonable price. I can fully recommend these grippers.
