Satisfied customer

These plates were my second purchase from Strength Shop and as with the first purchase, shipping was timely and went smoothly (France). The quality and finish of the plates is excellent and the weights will last me many years to come.

Good plates

Overall, the plates are very nice, with all of them maintaining the 1% accuracy that higher-priced brands claim, while staying at a reasonable price. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the imperfections around the edges of the 10kg plates, despite them being spot on with the weight they are supposed to have.

Excellent look and good tolerance

I bought several pairs (4x10 kg, 8x5 kg, 4x2.5 kg, 4x1.25 kg plates) for use with loadable dumbbells. They were speedily delivered and got to Italy in less than a week, in 4 packages weighing 30, 30, 20 and 15 kg respectively.

Compared with Decathlon-bought plates I used years ago they look much, much better and the picture on the site is basically what you get. Cheap cast iron plates are usually not bought for looks, but it does not hurt and the nominal weight and logo really pop out nicely.

As far as tolerances go, I weighed all the small plates with a kitchen scale and some of the 5 kg and 10 kg plates with a standard scale. The 4x1.25 kg I got are outstanding, within 20 g of the stated weight. The worst 2.5 kg was 40 g off. The 5x5 kg plates I weighed were consistently slightly high, but still the worst plate was just 100 g off. I just weighed one of the 10 kg plates and it was 50 g too heavy. All in all, 2% tolerance or better on all plates I tested, included those that are stated to be 3%; most plates were well within 1%.
