It's strong and works well, does what I want. It seems to be missing a screw, but this doesn't impact performance at all.

Deadlifts are fun. Getting the plates on/off the bar isn't. This tool will make your life a lot easier. The small formfactor makes it easy to use and store. A must have.
The deadlift jack is a must have, and this little guy does the job wonderfully. My main critique is about the protective inserts, which work perfectly fine but look like soft-ish rubber instead of UHMW plastic as advertised. Other than that, it's mainly about the tradeoff between size and leverage: the jack is very compact and can be stored very easily, but with just 120 kg loaded on the bar a decent bit of oomph is needed to get it up. If you are really strong maybe consider a full-sized jack, but get some kind of jack no matter what. You won't regret it.

We are pleased to let you know that we have launched an improved design of the jack so now the UHMW are harder wearing, the leverage points make it far, far easier to lift a loaded 300kg+ barbell, and further it can now support larger Axle bars too with the wider jack opening.
