Easy To Spot
The plates can be easily identified and added up on the bar by their standard colour code. Coated with coloured rubber, these cast iron plates won’t wear off over time. This not only looks good, but the rubber coating also gives a nice grip when handling the plates. The coating material also aids in reducing noise during lifting and loading.
A Snug Fit
The centre steel bushing makes the loading a smooth thing. They’re made for 50mm standard Olympic barbell sleeves, for a good fit to the bar. Strength Shop's Coloured Rubber Coated Plates are in line with IWF guidelines. Standard increments of Olympic weightlifting, from at least 1kg (2x0.5kg) up to the “small red ones” of 2.5kg each, are covered with this Rubber Coated Fractional Plate Set, with a total weight of 15kg.
