The Strength Shop Super Heavy Ballista is an aid to bench pressing, helping to keep the elbows tucked, and the lats tight. Creates a line similar to that which would be followed in a bench shirt, and gives 'spring' off the chest to aid the press, and also overload the triceps and the lockout part of the movement.

These are made from the super heavy material, which is extremely stiff (more so than our heavy material), and gives a good amount of 're-bound' off the chest. They come with a 1-year warranty against splitting/defective workmanship (see T&C's for full details).

Ballista XL

Ich finde das Teil hervorragend!
Mit meinem 1RM trainiere ich ein 3x5 ohne mir ins Hemd zu machen.
Von der Größe her ist es für mein Empfinden eher knapp. Mit Brust ca. 130cm, Arme knapp 50cm, kriege ich es nicht ganz über die Ellenbogen gezogen. So ein 2XL wäre wahrscheinlich perfekt. Und was machen die richtig großen Leute die so etwas haben wollen?

Could bench more

I could bench more than 20kg, first time using it :) definitely worth the buy. But it costs a lot of course, it’s worth it. In my opinion, it’s so much better, then mark bells Slingshot tho.

Top Product fällt aber klein aus

Super verarbeitet, ich habe die Größe „L“ gewählt da is vom Bizeps genau in der Mitte des angegeben Bereichs lag. Fällt aber scheinbar kleiner aus oder mein Arm ist doch dicker. Ich tausche gegen XL um und mag die Strenggtshop Jungs

Absolutely amazing

I decided to buy a Ballista as an alternative to the Slingshot, since everything I had purchased up until this point from Strengthshop was amazing and surpassed my expectations.First few times I used it I got like 10KG out of it, and then the numbers in my Raw- aswell as Ballista Bench went up as well as the amount I could get out of it. Nowadays I overload my bench with 20-30KG with the Ballista. I have a whole day dedicated to benching with it, and it just overloads the hell of out of my triceps and saves my chest and shoulders at the same time.t's an bsolutely amazing training tool to have in your arsenal. Definitely buy it if you want your bench to improve or even just to add some variety into your training.
