Improved Seal Row
You’re looking at our improved Seal Row Bench. We took this classic piece of Equipment and made it a bit better. To protect the hands the hooks were reduced from three to two. The protection for the barbel and the bench itself have been upped. Broader and flat hooks do have a protective rubber inlay now. Big pro: the increased possible range of motion through the cut-out in the beam beneath the pad, so you can pull even closer towards the chest, plus that area is now protected by a UHMW plate.
Effective old school exercise for assistance training
Introducing a classic old school piece of weightlifting training equipment for Seal rows, also known as Chinese Rows. These days found only at older weightlifting clubs in Europe, the Seal row bench is a fantastic addition to assistance training. Mainly favoured by Olympic weightlifters, but also by powerlifters as an antagonistic bench movement, and other strength athletes. No longer do you need to simulate this bench with an unstable construction of a flat bench placed on a stacked pile of bumper plates or plyo boxes. The movement hits the strength, stability and thickness of the lats without putting pressure on the lower back.
