The Original 2028 Olympic Bar is one of our best-selling barbells. Built to Olympic standards with a length of 2.2m and a weight of 20kg, the bar features 50mm sleeves and a straight steel shaft with a diameter of 28mm.
The Black E-Coating on the barbell is applied using an electrophoretic painting process, which uses electricity to bond the coating to the steel. This ensures that the finish is hard-wearing, durable, and corrosion-resistant.

I used bar for bench, squat, deadlifts awsome for that price bar came with some scratches but its okay because the price is good like some bars cost 300 or more soo its good budget option
Black E-Coat Bar Bought this bar from SS recently & it is excellent. Love the black e-coating. My black Rogue bumpers fit like a glove on it & the knurling is perfect for me so far. It was superbly packaged & was like Fort Knox trying to get it open. Once that happened, it slipped out lovely. The delivery was quick & efficient also. So was customer service when I inquired about my other purchases being split. Overall I would totally recommend SS for a lot of your fitness needs.

Great product and delivery Very happy with my purchase and speed of delivery, great quality at a reasonable price. Getting weights delivered isn’t always easy, but this was quick and the delivery man was very helpful.
I bought this bar during covid. Now after 3 years of use this bar just lost a little bit of it painting on sleeves. This bar is currently the best quality for price. If you are not an elite powerlifter you don’t need a more resistant bar, in my home gym I ran out of weight before the bar bend (around 180kg)
Item itself is exactly how it is described on the website. It however arrived after a hiccup or two and slightly scratched despite being in its wrapper.

Carport gym purchase First barbell purchase so I have no great insights but the bar feels heavy, is black, fits the plates and spins freely. Would naively purchase again.
Solid bar at a good price It's a good bar. I don't move crazy weight on it but it's solid. A bit of whip with isn't a problem. I do pin presses with it so it is repeatedly hitting the safety bars and it handles that no problem.

Not a bench bar This is a good bar for sqaut and dead lift but not for benching. It spins to freely and you cant hold it properly if that makes sense. For a bench bar what would anyone recommend??

Excellent bar, perfect fit for a home gym
Excellent Value Got this on sale and it's been great. Finish is nice although a bit of powder and oil from the factory will come off on the first few uses which I assume is normal. Feels just as good and arguably better than the bars being used in the mainstream commercial gyms in the area. Good aggressive knurling and smooth action on the ends. Only had 110kg on the bar so far but no bending or anything noticeable so looks to be a good choice for those starting out a home gym.

Bin mit der Stange sehr zufrieden, einziges kleines Manko sind minimale „Abschürfungen“ der Beschichtung an den Aufnahmen außen. Stört mich aber nicht wirklich und hat keinerlei Auswirkungen auf die guten Eigenschaften der Stange.

Coole Optik, griffiges Knurling, extrem guter und gleichmäßiger Spin. Markierungen nicht auf den mm genau, aber noch akzeptabel. Es fehlt zwar noch die Langzeiterfahrung, aber mehr Stange für das Geld wird man schwer finden.
