Our Original 2029 Power Bar is the entry-level barbell for your powerlifting and basic strength training. All static exercises, like rows or military press, in and around your powerlifting training, can be covered with this barbell.
The centre knurl provides grip and safety during the back squat; the 81cm markings and the 29mm diameter of the barbell shaft are also based on the powerlifting standard. The bar has a total length of 220cm, weighs 20kg and a 50mm sleeve diameter. The bronze bushings provide a good amount of spin, reducing stress on the joints and better handling of the weights. It should be noted, however, that this barbell is not suitable for exercises that are characteristic of Olympic weightlifting.
The 2029 Power Bar is an economical alternative for a large section of lifters, to whom more expensive power bars, aimed at very heavy lifting, might be an overkill or simply too expensive. Not to be overlooked visually either, this model catches the eye with a black e-coated shaft and chromed sleeves. E-Coating is the process of electrically applying a paint finish to metals. Black E-coating is harder than black oxide, chrome and zinc. It is corrosion resistant and environmentally friendly. The end result is a hard-wearing, durable and safe finish which effectively resists oxidation and corrosion from water, sunlight and household chemicals.
For your small home gym, it doesn't take that much to get started effectively. The Original 2029 Power Bar, simple squat stands and a set of weight plates and you're ready to go.

Arrived swiftly, as did the rest of my big and heavy order, which surprised me. Bar has incredibly deep and good knurling, good grip. It’s exactly the size specified, it’s huge. Everything is exactly as specified in the description and in the photos. Super pleased with the quality of each item, the weights, the bar, the deadlift slippers (do size up a little), and the safeties! Will order from here again.

Il bilanciere in sé è molto valido per il prezzo pagato (110€ in sconto), ma la verice nera è estremamente delicata. Tutto sommato un ottimo bilanciere come alternativa ai top di gamma.
Pretty good bar for home gym or commercial. My only complaints are not so sharp knurling and black sleeves scratched from looking at them🥺. I would stick to chrome sleeves version. For my use and probably 90% of lifters I don't see a reason to go for Bastard if this bar is in stock.
Hallo, Die Bar an sich hält was Sie verspricht und ist für den Preis absolut fair. Leider hatte meine schon bei der Lieferung eine Macke in der Lagerbuchse die ich aber erst vor kurzem entdeckt habe.
Die Stange wird 4 mal die Woche von mir schlecht behandelt und tut noch immer was Sie soll ;)
This year I made my home gym and of course, the barbell was the central point. I use it for squat, bench and deadlift (+ some pressing and rowing) and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. It has the correct diameter, weight, length and knur marks so you can get used to it for powerlifting meets. The knurling is sharp, but I never found it to be over-aggressive. The sleeves also spin well. The most I have lifted on it was 180kg x 5 and you can see in the photo how much it bends (4 competition plates per side that are 20kg and 2cm thick). It flexes a decent amount, but it's still, much better than any CrossFit/general use barbell you can find at this price point. I may lift more than 260kg by the end of the year, but this is still a great bar that I intend on keeping anyway. Thank you StrengthShop for keeping the fair price and shipping quickly
