Posizionamento neutro della barra
Con una sbarra per squat di sicurezza, il peso è posizionato nel centro di gravità. Quando si utilizza per la prima volta la Riot Olympic Safety Squat Bar, si può avere l'impressione che il peso sia un po' in avanti, ma in realtà si trova a metà strada tra il back squat e il front squat, in una posizione neutra.
La sbarra di sicurezza è ideale anche per l'allenamento in caso di infortuni o durante il processo di recupero. Anche la mobilità limitata delle spalle può essere utile per la SSB. Ma non pensate che sia solo una barra per la riabilitazione. I sollevatori più forti integrano questo bilanciere speciale nei loro programmi di allenamento. Grazie al suo posizionamento, lo squat viene eseguito con la schiena più eretta e con una maggiore imposizione della catena anteriore. Permette di spostare un peso leggermente superiore a quello convenzionale.

Zigrinatura per una presa sicura
Anche se la forma è diversa, la barra può essere montata con la maggior parte dei ganci. Il diametro della barra è di 50 mm in corrispondenza dei manicotti e dell'asta. Comoda e sicura: l'impugnatura è zigrinata.
Miglioramento: cuscinetti robusti
Le nuove protezioni sono realizzate in un unico pezzo con un robusto velcro nella parte posteriore e in pelle sintetica. Sono aderenti e robusti, in modo da garantire un 'ammortizzazione confortevole anche in caso di carichi pesanti.

Ein Griff der Bar war defekt bzw. das Gewinde einer der beiden Buchsen. Habe mich per Mail an den Service gewendet, da es sich mit einem Griff schlecht beugen lässt. Leider KEINE Rückmeldung erhalten. Habe mir daher Schlüsselfeilen usw. gekauft und das Gewinde bearbeitet. Dann das Gewinde des Griffs und das Gewinde der Buchse geölt und mit aller Kraft den Griff draufgeschraubt. Bis auf ca. 2 Umdrehungen ist der Griff jetzt drauf und ich habe mir bei der Aktiob meine lang erarbeiteten Hornhautplatten auf meinen Händen abgeschält :D. Oberkörper geht die nächsten Tage daher schon mal nicht mehr. Die Stange an sich ist klasse (!) Wer jedoch ein "Montagsprodukt" wie ich erhält, hat noch Arbeit vor sich und brauch nicht auf Kulanz hoffen.

A really nice bar that sits comfortabel on your neck. The handles are nicely placed and aren't a problem when hitting depth as some other bars. Overal the bar looks and feels premium.
I used few safety squat bars, and this one is the best,great and dursble pads! :)
The Riot SSB looks sturdy and well-made. In particular the padding appears robust and well-finished. I of course looked at competitors' products before buying and most of them look on the pictures like the padding is flimsy and ill-fitting. Not so with the Riot bar. Also, the handles of the Riot SSB are relatively closely-spaced which ensures the weight is borne on the more stable area of your shoulder girdle. I use the bar for 20-rep squats and (contrary to what I had read on some fora) I find that I can handle more poundage than with a straight bar. I can also squat deeper without rounding my back. My progression was becoming limited by my ability to keep the straight bar in position on my back towards the bitter end, but the SSB just sits in place. The only drawback is that the deep breathing required for the 20-rep format is somewhat restricted because you can't expand your chest as much as with a straight bar. But that's a small price to pay for the SSB's advantages.

The powder coat scratches pretty easily, but the bar works great. Fits over the safeties in my squat rack. And it came with spring clips that I didn't see on the listing at all.

Very nice bar. Rides tight and high on shoulders/neck. Sleeves more like an olympic bar than a typical specialty bar (not rotating. That would make no sense). Its balanced a bit less forward than many others. So it is nicer for letting go of the handles in order to hold rack for balane on one legged squats etc. without getting too much of a push in the back of neck.

Die SSB ist sehr stabil. Liegt gut auf der Schulter auf. Man kann super freihändig Squats machen und sich mit den Händen ggf. festhalten oder hochziehen. Das zusammenhängende Polster ist erstklassig! Für mich perfekt.
I've been using the bar for a couple of weeks. It's very comfortable to use and looks to be built to last. I've been trying quite a few variations with it beyond the classic ssb squat, such as lunges, bulgarian split squats, good mornings and even front squats or squats flipping the camber upside down. Definitely a nice addition to my home gym !
