I purchased the Heavy Black Wrist Wraps (90 cm) about a month ago, and I feel ready to share my review. I use them in almost every training session, and they have completely changed the way I train — my wrists now feel truly secure.
At first, I thought that choosing the 90 cm heavy version would leave my wrists almost immobile. In reality, the level of compression depends on how tightly you wrap them, allowing proper mobility without affecting the biomechanics of the movement.
A note on care: the Velcro is extremely strong. I recommend, once they’re dry from sweat, to close them as shown in the video and store them in the bag provided by Strength Shop. If any part of the Velcro is left exposed, it can stick to other surfaces and potentially cause damage — a feature that, if not handled properly, could become a drawback.
Hello! I ordered heavy wrist wraps (gold color) and wine-red lever belt. Fantastic products! Wrist wraps really help in push day exercises and the belt is amazing when I'm deadlifting or doing squats. Quality is very good. The belt doesn't leave color on shirts and it keeps my back safe.
Got a pair of these a few years back now…..lasted me all this time and still feel stiff. Decided to come grab another fresh fair for a meet!!! Great product.
Recommend if your wrists are average size
They are amazing except for one detail: the velcro strip to hold them in place is either too short or placed in such a way that if your wrists are very small the velcro reaches further than the sticky pad meaning that the small area next to it gets frayed. I hope this makes sense and it's only an issue if your wrists are small - am assuming someone with bigger wrists won't have this issue.
Otherwise they are very comfortable and stay in place very well.
The only thing that got me over my fear of Lowbar squats!! I was terrified of injuring my wrists but these gave me enough support that it was the last thing on my mind on meet day! Seriously perfect- ordering more asap
The wraps provide very stable support. I feel a big difference switching to stiff wraps and I feel way more supported while doing my pressing movements.
I have very skinny wrists. These are very stiff but don’t hurt my wrists like the super stiff ones. They are very soft, supportive, and I like the design
These are very good wrist wraps... stiff enough to give great support but comfortable enough to not hurt. For the price would definitely recommend, but unfortunately mine were stolen within a week of me having them (along with everything else in my gym bag).
These wrist wraps are very sturdy and have provided a lot of support for my wrists when I first started developing some wrist discomfort. I highly recommend it for others.
